King George V Playing Field
King George V Playing Field
Rochford District Neighbourhood Watch will be holding a bike tagging session in King Georges Park Rayleigh on Saturday 24th February from 10-30 to 12-30.
This involves the insertion of a micro chip (holding the owner’s unique ID code) inside the bike. Should the bike be stolen and subsequently recovered by the police, this enables them to return the bike to the rightful owner. There is no charge for this tagging, which would cost £15 if bought from a reputable bike shop. Tagging is primarily intended for bikes of significant value.
Attached are two forms, one of which only needs to be completed if the owner is under-sixteen years of age. Completion of the form/forms prior to the tagging exercise saves a lot of time on the day and is recommended.
Should there be a demand for an additional session, this will be carried out on Saturday March 3rd, 10.30 to 12.30.
